Front line: In the distance of 300 meters from front line (video)
Some days ago the military position was involved in dreadful fight against the Azerbaijanis. Even the large number of military equipment didn’t help the adversary. The killed were only Azerbaijanis. “Approximately there would be more than twenty killed,” says serviceman Edgar. In the distance of 300 meters from the adversary vigilance is a lifestyle. All the night before the shooting the Azerbaijanis were very active, which was noticed by the soldiers at their army post. Commander of the unit Arman Iskandaryan notes, “We had noticed numerous tanks, the movement of their personnel, which deployed themselves in their trenches and the second line.” In a few seconds our soldiers were already in their trenches, undermining the Azerbaijani attack. “Thanks to the personnel of the post, we were able to throw them back. We don’t underestimate our rival, but we are much stronger,” says the commander. The soldiers have many facts that there were many mercenaries among the adversary’s troops. “Much money can be found with the killed serviceman, and it shows that they have been hired. We also face the personnel of special detachments.” The traces of adversary’s mortars are still fresh in the neighborhood of the military position. The white dog also struggled by getting injury to its paw. At present there is relative peace here, which, though, doesn’t affect our vigilance.” There is only one thing in soldiers’ mind. “We are thinking about victory, it’s us, there is no one after us,” says serviceman Edgar. Commander of the unit Arman Iskandaryan is 28 years old and is father of two children. They expect their third child in several days. He always feels the breath of his family in the back. “My family members lived in Martakert. But when those incidents started, they were immediately sent to Stepanakert, at present they live in Stepanakert.” The Commander puts much effort for calming down his family. “I say that everything is good, everything is in our hands, we do what we want. But it is clear that they don’t believe, as the shots can be heard even there.” In this military post not only the servicemen keep the border. Volunteers are on duty together with them. Ashot Sarukhanyan says, “For the sake of our land, our homeland we have decided to come, support our draftees, encourage them and defend our land.”
