NKR Defense Ministry brushes off reports of ceasefire violation by its forces
The Defense Ministry of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic refutes misleading reports by the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry alleging that Armenian troops ‘are firing in their direction from various-caliber mortars.’ “The frontline units of the NKR Defense Ministry strictly observe the cease-fire agreement reached on April 5,” the Ministry’s press service said. The ceasefire came into force between the Karabakh and Azerbaijan on Tuesday, April 5 following five days of clashes that led to fatal casualties on both sides.
