Armenian parliamentarians visit wounded soldiers in Yerevan hospital

A group of Armenian parliamentarians led by Vice-Speaker of the National Assembly Eduard Sharmazanov visited the Central Military Hospital in Yerevan to see the soldiers wounded in the course of military operations in the Karabakh conflict zone. The delegation included representatives from all parliamentary factions and Koryun Nahapetyan, Chairman of the NA Standing Committee Defense, National Security and Internal Affairs. The group also talked to the doctors, inquiring about the health condition of the wounded soldiers. On the night of April 2, Azerbaijani armed forces began military operations in the southern, southeastern and northeastern directions of the Line of Contact with Karabakh, using artillery, armored fighting vehicles and air force equipment among other weapons. As many as 18 Armenian servicemen were killed and 35-40 were wounded in the skirmishes. The Armenian side estimates that Azerbaijani casualties stand at 200.
