Killed Armenian soldier awarded posthumously
Nagorno-Karabakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan today signed a decree to award posthumously private of the NKR Defense Army’s N division Vladimir Melkonyan with the “For Service in Battle” medal. The 20-year-old soldier was fatally wounded at around 12:20 on Friday while on duty in a military unit stationed in the northern direction of the Line of Contact with Azerbaijan.
