Adversary uses multiple rocket launcher, mortars and grenade launchers (video)
According to the operative data of the Defense Army, from March 20 to 26 at the Line of Contact between the opposing forces of Karabakh and Azerbaijan the adversary fired more than 13000 shots from weapons of different caliber including 60 mm and 82 mm mortars, HAN-17 and RPG-7 grenade launchers toward the Armenian positions. On March 26 at about 07:30-07:40 the adversary fired from TR-107 multiple grenade launcher in the southeastern direction of the line of contact in the depth of 5km. As a result of the shelling resident of Taghavard village Yervand Karo Firyan (1989) was injured. As a result of the punitive actions by the DA vanguard units the attacking activity of the adversary was quelled. The NKR Defense Ministry strictly condemns the escalation of the situation by Azerbaijan and declares that the whole responsibility of the consequences of the current situation rests with the military and political leadership of Azerbaijan.
