Karabakh reports intensified ceasefire violations along Line of Contact
Though the conflicting parties reached agreements not to destabilize the situation, Azerbaijan continued to ratchet up the situation along the Line of Contact at the weekend. On March 19 and 20, Azerbaijan fired more than 2400 rounds from different firearms, including 60mm and 82mm mortars. “Trying to cover up its destructive actions, Azerbaijani as usual hurried to blame the tension on the Armenian side,” the NKR Defense Ministry said on March 21. The NKR Defense Ministry reaffirms its strong commitment to the binding agreements and says it is ready to prevent any provocation of the enemy.
