Ecolex.am is the first unified platform for non-governmental organizations and agencies where they can participate in the process of elaboration of draft legal acts related to environment. Here one can find information about draft legal acts related to environment. “We give the public the necessary knowledge and enable them to participate in the adoption of legal acts,” says Aida Iskoyan, chairwoman of the “Environmental Public Advocacy Center” (EPAC) NGO, The Center has gathered under one roof representatives of the National Assembly, several ministries and agencies to discuss the possibilities of the program. By registering on the site Ecolex can monitor online the whole process of projects to submit proposals.b Ecolex.am enables its users, by means of electronic tools available at the website to provide their comments and suggestions which will be submitted to the decision-making authority and at the same time be publicly accessible. The project implemented by EPAC NGO is aimed at enhancing the efficiency of the right to participate in the process of elaboration of legal acts related to environment through development of relevant legal tool and web-based platform as well as awareness-raising.
