More trees cut down in Yerevan (video)
Representatives of the City Council's opposition Hello Yerevan faction have contacted A1+’s editorial office to inform us about illegal felling in downtown Yerevan. “Right now, trees are being cut in the vicinity of Santa Fe café in Yerevan, in the territory of the Statue of Tumanyan, as well as in front of Armenia National Agrarian University. “Is the University aware of this? Go and prevent this atrocity,” they said. Earlier, A1+ said on its website that a cultural center after Hrant Matevosyan is planned to be built on the site. However, the Municipality has not issued any permission for any felling operations.
