Vahan Shirkhanyan refuses to take pills
Former Deputy Defense Minister Vahan Shirkhanyan has already refused to take some pills. “Vahan Shirkhanyan said that if he wasn’t transferred to the medical center he wanted, he would also refuse further treatment. Today vascular surgeon must visit him, in order to decide the type of treatment and the place, where the treatment must be received,” Vahan Shirkhanyan’s advocate Stepan Voskanyan told “A1+”. The advocates of Vahan Shirkhanyan mediated to transfer him to the medical center after Vladimir Avagyan, as Vahan Shirkhanyan underwent medical examination there. Yesterday he was transferred to Hanrapetakan Hospital, but the advocates weren’t informed about it. “For unknown reason several media outlets were informed about it, but we weren’t informed. Vahan Shirkhanyan went and found out in the hospital that his advocates weren’t there, as he was sure that we must have already been informed and must have waited for him in the hospital,” says Stepan Voskanyan. To remind, Vahan Shirkhanyan was detained on December 19, 2015, on suspicion of aiding a criminal gang led by Artur Vardanyan.
