Question of reopening Nairit plant remains uncertain (video)
At present a number of former employees of Nairit plant are outside the building of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources. Short time ago Minister Yervand Zakharyan met with them. He noted that there was no news connected with the reopening of the plant, “There are three Russian organizations, which have been interested in the plant, but they haven’t given any concrete answer yet. As for now I cannot say anything for sure.” Asked by “A1+” whether it isn’t possible to reopen the plant with the inner resources, Minister stressed that it is impossible. In reply to our remarks that various experts have stated about it, he responded that there is nothing like that, the experts cannot decide that. “Reopening of the plant doesn’t depend only on my desire. If it depended on my desire, it would have been reopened long ago.”
