CEC distributes positions
At today’s session the RA Central Electoral Commission established the distribution of the positions of chairmen and secretaries of precinct electoral commissions among the political parties and the party alliance having faction in the National Assembly for the elections to local self-governmental bodies to be held in communities Tumanyan (Lori Marz), Tatev (Syunik Marz) and Dilijan (Tavoush Marz)on February 14, 2016. The distribution of the positions of chairmen and secretaries of 34 precinct electoral commissions is illustrated by the following proportionality: Republican Party of Armenia, 15 chairmen and secretaries respectively, Prosperous Armenia Party, 10 respectively, Armenian National Congress, 3 respectively, Armenian Revolutionary Federation Dashnakcutyun Party, 2 respectively, Rule of Law Party, 2 respectively, Heritage Party, 2 respectively. The political parties and the party alliance, having faction in the RA National Assembly, can submit applications on appointing precinct electoral commission members to the Central Commission from January 25 to 27 until 18.00.
