Artsakh military repels Azerbaijani Incursion, inflicts casualties on the enemy
The Artsakh Defense Ministry reports that last night its forces repelled an Azerbaijani reconnaissance unit that attempted to cross the Line of Contact in the eastern direction. The incursion attempt happened at around 9.30 pm on January 14. The other members of the Azerbaijani unit retreated to their original position. The Ministry says its frontline units timely spotted the enemy's advancement and took preventive measures. The Ministry says Azerbaijani forces incurred two losses and that the Artsakh military personnel suffered no casualties during the skirmish. The Artsakh Ministry of Defense also reports that on January 14 and on the night of January 15, Azerbaijan fired at least 600 rounds from different weapons, AGS-17 and RPG-7 grenade launchers.
