OSCE monitoring to be conducted in the direction of Martakert Region
In accordance with the arrangement reached with the authorities of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), the OSCE Mission will conduct a planned monitoring of the Line of Contact between the armed forces of Nagorno-Karabakh and Azerbaijan, in the eastern direction of Talish village of the Martakert Region of the NKR on January 14. From the positions of the NKR Defense Army, the monitoring will be conducted by Field Assistants Khristo Khristov (Bulgaria) and Jiri Aberle (Czech Republic) of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office. The NKR authorities have expressed their readiness to assist in holding the monitoring and to ensure the safety of the OSCE Mission members.
