Tank, rocket launcher and anti-aircraft canon at front line
Press Service of NKR Ministry of Defense informs that on December 6-12, Azerbaijan violated the ceasefire regime at the line of contact between the opposing forces of Karabakh and Azerbaijan about 1400 times. During that period, Azerbaijan fired more than 15000 shots in the direction of Armenian positions from weapons of different caliber including 60mm, 82 mm and 120 mm mortars, RPG-7 and HAN-17 grenade launchers. The adversary also used TR-107 rocket launcher and ZU-23-2 anti-aircraft canon. For the first time, Azerbaijan used a tank to fire mortar shells at the NKR Defense Army’s military positions stationed in the southern direction of the frontline. Taking into account the current situation the DA vanguard units took punitive actions in order to quell the attacking activeness of the adversary and destroyed several important military facilities of the Azerbaijani armed forces stationed near the front line.
