Police officers go after Vardges Gaspari (video)
Police officers today visited the home of civil activist Vardges Gaspari to take him to a police department in accordance with a decision of a Yerevan court which has ordered the detention of the activist. Gaspari is accused of insulting police officers Diana Vardanyan and Sona Melikyan during a trial at the Administrative Court in April 2014, as well as of hindering the normal course of the trial. The visiting police officers persuaded Gaspari to follow them but the latter would not obey them. as a result, they grabbed his hands and feet, pulled him down and put into a police car. Before that, the policemen offered the activist to wear his coat, saying it was cold outside.
