Secretary of the Country of Law Party (OEK) Mher Shahgeldyan today said a stubborn fight should be led against the rigged elections in Armenia. Speaking at the parliamentary briefings on Friday, the OEK representative said six months ago they expressed concerns over the use of ID cards in elections. Their concerns were justified and ID cards became basis of fruafulant vote. “Still six months ago we warned that ID cards could be used for multiple voting and it really happened during the Sunday constitutional referendum. We were right after all,” he said. Mher Shahgeldyan also dismissed the reports that his teammates ‘had sold their seats’ at precinct election commissions. “We have never done such a thing and are not going to. It is unacceptable for us. I do not know who told you such things and I cannot even understand it,” he said.
