DA soldier injured in Azerbaijani bombardment
Taking into account serious geopolitical situation and trying to hinder the events of state importance in Armenia and the Republic of Artsakh, the adversary continues destabilizing the situation along the entire Line of Contact between the opposing forces of Karabakh and Azerbaijan by regularly violating the ceasefire regime firing from weapons of different caliber. On December 5-6 overnight the adversary violated the ceasefire regime at Line of Contact between the opposing forces of Karabakh and Azerbaijan about 180 times. During that period the adversary fired more than 3500 shots in the direction of Armenian position from weapons of different caliber including 60mm (69 shells), 82 mm (229 shells), and 120 mm (40 shells) mortars, HAN-17 (142 shells) and RPG-7 (1 shell) grenade launchers. The adversary also used TR-107 multiple rocket launcher (24 shells). As a result of adversary’s bombardment the DA soldier Varazdat Ishkhan Khachatryan (born in 1995) was wounded on December 5 at about 18:45. The NKR Defense Ministry informs that the adventurous strategy of the adversary won’t remain unanswered and the whole responsibility of the current situation rests with the military and political leadership of Azerbaijan.
