Armenian dance Kochari to be put on UNESCO list
The tenth session of the Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage is underway in the Country Club and Resort of Windhoek in Namibia from 30 November to 4 December. The Committee discussed 35 applications, including that of the Armenia’s National Commission for UNESCO which requests the Committee to put “Kochari - traditional group dance” on UNESCO’s Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
