Ashotyan to Postanjyan: You are the queen of political showbiz (video)
During Armenian government’s question-and-answer session in parliament, lawmaker Zaruhi Postanjyan asked Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan how it happened that he was chosen to run a debate show on the Public Television. “The question has nothing to do with the activities of the Minister of Education and Science or with the government, and I had every right not to answer the question. But I cannot refuse a woman and I shall answer your question. I received an official offer from the Public Television and I accepted it. I understand your anger. It is possible that you hope to be invited to the program one day. You have your own place in the Armenian political showbiz and you are a queen there. We shall be glad to see such a star in our program," Ashotyan said in reply.
