Only guarantee of success of business women in Armenia (video)
Only 1% of working women in Armenia heads an enterprise. What’s more they do it with numerous difficulties. Lilith Asatryan, Chairman of Women Entrepreneurs Network in Armenia, notes the problems, “I would point out the limitation of markets, as well as the issue of limiting the financial resources for women in the sphere of entrepreneurship.” According to entrepreneur Gayane Khachatryan, tax laws arouse problems and besides, consumption has decreased, “Today it is difficult to keep workers and run a business in Armenia.” Armenian business women present at the discussion “Support of state and international organizations in Armenia to the development of women’s enterprise” consider the main obstacle to the development of their business to be lack of support. Young business woman Gayane Simonyan has been engaged in business for a year. She has a great desire to move her wax workshop from the city of Spitak to Yerevan but there are difficulties. These women assure that they are ready to maintain their business in every possible way. In spite of numerous obstacles, they think that they have a unique guarantee of success- to solve all the issues with a smile. Details in the video
