Shop assistant shows list of debtors to "Yes and No" campaign members

Participants of the “Yes and No” campaign are visiting shops in Ushi village where they ask employees about their main concerns and problems. One of the shop assistants showed the group a list of debtors saying his co-villagers “borrow” food promising to pay for it later. Along with other issue, they also discussed the problem of irrigation water and other social issues. A local woman came up to lawmaker Mikael Melkumyan and asked him to support her in addressing some of the social needs. The lawmaker advised her to turn to the Welfare Department of the Governor’s Office while his friend Artur Yeghiazaryan, another representative of the “Yes” camp, told the woman to go to the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs. During their meetings, Republican lawmakers Samvel Farmanyan and Mikael Melkumyan even manage to play chess and backgammon with elderly people.
