Black ice and strong wind on some highways of republic
The RA Ministry of Transport and Communication informs that on November 12 as of 09:30, it is snowing in Ashotsk, Vayk and Saravan. There is black ice in Martuni-Gavar, Goris-Sisian road sectors, as well as in Sevan region and Vardenyats mountain pass. There is strong wind in Sevan, Hrazdan, Gavar, Martuni, Vayk, Saravan, Vardenyats and Megri mountain passes. In order to ensure safe traffic the roads are being cleaned with salt and sand. Interstate and republican roads are open. The RA Ministry of Transport and Communication urges drivers to use winter tires in order to refrain from accidents, incidents and traffic jams.
