Participation in referendum with ID cards approved at the NA (video)
By a vote of 81-16, and 14 abstentions, the National Assembly today adopted the package on making amendments in the “Electoral Code” and in the law on “Identification cards”, by which more than 500 000 people will participate in the referendum also with the ID cards. The OEK and the HAK MPs Alexander Arzumanyan, Khachatur Kokobelyan were against the package. Some of the MPs of the BHK faction voted against, another part abstained and the others voted in favor of the package. The BHK had announced beforehand that the MPs of the faction were free in their voting.
