Mothers of lifers to hold sit-in
Starting from next Thursday the relatives of the lifers will start sit-in strike near the building of the Ministry of Justice. Today they have been informed that their demands were sent to the Ministry of Justice and the answer would be given in a month. The relatives of the lifers demand to review the cases of their sons. According to the words of the parents, the cases must be reviewed and the punishments of their sons must be reduced. At present there are 104 lifers in the penitentiary institutions of Armenia.
