The Social Democrat Hunchakian Party (the SDHP), which considers itself to be an opposition, will say ‘yes’ to the constitutional amendments, but will not join any political headquarters and will hold campaign separately. It was decided during the closed activities of the party’s 10th conference, that they will organize their campaign separately and will explain the possible positive shifts of the constitutional amendments to the people. The SDHP Chairman Narek Galstyan reminds that shift to the parliamentary system of government is one of the plan provisions of their party, and besides, they aim at getting some experience for participating in the elections of 2017. Doesn’t such propaganda call into question the fact of their being an opposition? “If someone supports ‘No’ camp, it doesn’t mean supporting Robert Kocharyan or Levon Ter-Petrosyan, that logics will not work. The shift to the parliamentary system of government gives chance to the Hunchakian party for the regime change. Will the supporters of ‘no’ camp, who don’t justify the ideological part of ‘no’, be able to carry out regime change in this country with this Constitution,” asks Narek Galstyan.
