Ten weightlifters to represent Armenia
Ten weightlifters will represent Armenia at the European Youth Weightlifting Championships to be held in Klaipeda from October 3 to 10, informs the official website of the Weightlifting Federation of Armenia. 58 kg weight category Izabella Yaylyan and 69 kg Sona Poghosyan will represent Armenia at U-20 women’s tournament. Davit Davayan and Marzpet Minasyan (56 kg), Azat Hakobyan (69kg), Norayr Avetisyan (85 kg), Karush Ghukasyan and Samvel Gasparyan (94 kg) will represent Armenia at U-20 men’s tournament. Two athletes will represent Armenia at U-23 tournament- Smbat Margaryan (56 kg) and Mikael Mikaelyan (94 kg).
