Borodin Quartet to perform in Yerevan on Sept. 29
The Borodin Quartet will perform at the Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall in Yerevan on September 29. Renowned cellist Alexander Chaushian (UK) will accompany the string quartet during the concert. He will perform Cello Quintet by Schubert. The quartet will also perform Quartet No.1 (Tchaikovsky), “Epilogue” string quartet (Ruben Sarkisyan) which is written in memory of composer Edward Mirzoyan. The festival is dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra and 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.
