Azerbaijan continued to intensively violate the ceasefire along the Line of Contact between Azerbaijani and Karabakh armed forces all through the night, Artsakh Defence Army said in a statement. The enemy violated the truce about 260 times overnight, firing over 4000 rounds from different weapons, including 60 and 82 mm mortars, RPG-7, HAN-17 and SPG-9 grenade launchers and TTR-107 Artillery Rocket Launchers made in Turkey. Defence Army’s frontline units gave adequate response to Azerbaijani shelling and suppressed the enemy’s activity. Defence Army says it continues to keep the situation under control along the entire Contact Line. Three Armenian civilians were killed and two others wounded late on Thursday when their border villages came under fire from nearby Azerbaijani army positions. Armenia's Defence Ministry pledged retaliation against Azerbaijan’s deadly border attacks. It also called upon Azerbaijan's political-military leadership to avoid a further escalation along Armenia’s eastern border.
