BHK to say ‘yes’ to Constitutional amendments (video)
The Prosperous Armenia Party (the BHK) will say “Yes” to the Constitutional amendments. BHK spokesman Vahan Babayan today informed about the position of the party, “We haven’t decided to say ‘yes’ at once. There is no argument to be against or not to support, we took part in many discussions and all the provisions, which relate to the government of the state, which were one of the program provisions of the BHK, we have seen, that the government took the step that hereafter the National Assembly will be formed only by the majoritarian voting system,” said Vahan Babayan. In reply to the question of “A1+” whether the BHK doesn’t have a problematic issue in the package of the Constitutional amendments anymore, whether everything is ideal, Mr. Babayan answered, “There is no ideal Constitution in the world, even the US Constitution isn’t ideal. The Constitution is one thing, which will be followed by different legislative amendments in the parliament. The BHK will do everything in order to adopt such laws, so that the society can feel the importance and necessity of those changes.”
