Human rights defenders in Armenia need defense (video)
Most of human rights defenders are unprotected. From time to time they appear in dangerous situations.
Such a situation is a result of mentality inherited from the Soviet era.
Not forgetting the problems Armenian human rights defenders claim: unlike Azerbaijan, they are in much more favorable condition in our country. Human rights defenders in Azerbaijan are simply arrested for their work.
When comparing with Georgia the picture is completely different. By choosing the route of European integration Georgia is a few steps forward. There is a misgiving that being a member of the EEU Armenia may approach Azerbaijan.
