Ruben Hakobyan did not show up in parliament
Ruben Hakobyan, chairman of the Heritage party's parliamentary bloc, did not show up at today's special session of the Armenian National Assembly. Yesterday evening Hakobyan left a Facebook post saying he was stepping down as the leader of the party's parliamentary faction and suspending his affiliation with the Heritage. Zaruhi Postanjyan, a lawmaker from the Heritage, refused to comment on Hakobyan's decision. Earlier on Friday, the party said it had learnt about Hakobyan's decision to quit the party from the press.
