David Babayan: Let him Robert Walter not visit Artsakh if he has not changed the content of report (video)
Robert Walter (United Kingdom, EC), rapporteur on the “Escalation of violence in Nagorno-Karabakh and the other occupied territories of Azerbaijan” will carry out a fact-finding visit to the area of the line of contact in the Nagorno-Karabakh region from the side under control of the Azeri authorities, on 15-16 September, PACE said on its website. A visit on the other side of the line of contact is foreseen in the near future. David Babayan, a spokesman for the Nagorno-Karabakh Presidentm says they have not received any official letter regarding the preparation of the report which has an unacceptable title [for the Armenian side]. Then he reiterated their statement that unless the title and contents are changed, no one can visit Artsakh on a fact-finding visit. “Let him [Robert Walter] not come to Artsakh unless he changes the title and content. Let him go to Azerbaijani President or Foreign Minister and receive everything he want and leave the region. Let him put the money given for his visit to Artsakh into his pocket,” Mr Babayan said.
