Freight elevator falls into gorge injuring two
At least two people were injured when a freight elevator fell into a shaft in Yerevan. In incident occurred in Davit Anhaght street in the early hours of Monday. The cables of the elevator snapped, and the elevator fell 60 meters down into a gorge with its riders. As a result, two people had sustained injuries and were taken to Surb Grigor Lusavorich hospital. One of the injured riders, P.S. (born in 1955), went out of the elevator before the arrival of rescuers.
