Tractor rolls down into gorge, driver killed
Driver of a tractor was killed when the tractor he was driving overturned and rolled down into a gorge near Vardablur village in Armenia’s Lori marz on July 26. At 9:12pm, local rescuers were called to drag the vehicle out of the gorge. Rescuers and Red Cross rapid response group of Koghes village were conducting search and rescue operations until 3.04 a.m. The search operations were suspended due to darkness and were resumed early in the morning. In the early hours of July 17, rescuers found the tractor with the body of the driver S.V. (born in 1948) inside the vehicle.
