Serzh Sargsyan appoints new spokesperson
Serzh Sargsyan has signed a decree to appoint Vladimir Hakobyan as his new spokesman. Hakobyan will replace Arman Saghatelyan who informed about his resignation earlier on Saturday, saying he has received an invitation to work in the private sector and will be further engaged in business projects. “I am grateful to all of you for so many years of cooperation. I am grateful for compassion, understanding and collaboration,” Saghatelyan wrote in a Facebook post today. Vladimir Hakobyan worked in the National Security Service of Armenia.
