HHK Head: Paramilitary situation created after each presidential election (video)
After each presidential election Armenia’s political life appears in a paramilitary situation, says the head of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (HHK). He is convinced that the constitution reforms offers a solution to the problem and is a way to encourage parties. Head of the Armenian National Congress (HAK) faction, consider the transition to a parliamentary republic unacceptable for a country like Armenia. He cites the example of the US where the constitution has been amended over 27 times, with the system of government always staying the same. Levon Zurabyan says once the rules of the game are changed the ruling party hurries to take advantage of the situation.
