Initiative group addresses letter to Republicans, says it will not start dialogue with them (video)
An initiative group called “Stand up, Armenia!” today held a march to the Office of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (HHK) to hand a letter to HHK representatives. Pavel Grigoryan, a senior member of the initiative, said they are not going to enter into dialogue with HHK members. “In the letter, we reminded them that our main demand connected with revocation of the state regulator’s decision to raise the current electricity tariffs has not been met. We are going to organize different actions, block highways and take other measures as part of civil disobedience. We do not set deadlines but we shall make a statement to inform people about our future programs,” he said.
