What might happen when political forces show up on stage? (video)
The number of citizens campaigning against rising electricity prices in Armenia will abruptly fall down when political forces show up on the stage. Harutyun Mesrobyan, an expert in management, believes that political forces in Armenia are discredited in the eyes of people. “All ongoing processes, protests are marred by different forces, who are treated negatively by people,” he said. The expert stresses that citizens no longer want to tolerate the failure of the opposition forces: they have witnessed many failures by the opposition. “When the protest started, representatives of all political forces could be seen on Baghramyan Avenue, took selfies, began PR, formed a human wall to shield protesters from the police. This shows that almost all parties have a problem, they are unable to rally people because our compatriots get disappointed when they feel false things occurring around them,” Harutyun Mesrobyan said. After the break-up of the nearly two-week demonstration on Baghramyan [Avenue], protesters moved to nearby Liberty Square to continue the struggle there. Experts say the venue does not matter as much as the idea which seems not to have been clarified by activists.
