Alliance says BHK MPs did not join it
In recent days, several news websites have been reporting that a number of MPs have joined the Progressive Centrist Party “Alliance” founded by Tigran Urikhanyan. The party officially announces that the reports are false and fabricated and says it recently held a Board sitting which focused on other issues, including establishment of an executive body and launch of its official website (www.alyans.am). “Regarding the alleged membership of MPs Martun Grigoryan, Vahe Enfiajyan and Elinar Vardanyan with the Alliance Party, we say that it is a dirty attempt of spreading information to thwart healthy and democratic parliamentary cooperation between us. They are all respected people and noted figures but we have never negotiated with them over party affiliation,” the party’s press service reports.
