HAK expresses solidarity with activists campaigning against electricity tariff rise
The opposition Armenian National Congress (HAK) conducted its regular board meeting on June 27. Vladimir Karapetyan, Chairman of the HAK Foreign Relations Committee presented a report on the Committee’s activity. The sitting also focused on the events unfolding in Armenia after the Public Services Regulatory Commission decided to partially grant the bid of the Russian-managed Electric Networks of Armenia (ENA) Company and raised electricity prices by 6,93 drams. The board reaffirmed its solidarity with the citizens who are protesting rising prices in electricity on Baghramyan Avenue.
