Police in Gyumri also use force to disperse peaceful demonstrators (video)
Some 30 minutes ago, police in Armenia’s second largest city of Gyumri attacked young people, who were staging a peaceful sit-in in a city square, and without any explanations or warnings to discontinue the action took them to a police station, Head of the Shirak Centre Vahan Tumasyan wrote on his Facebook account. Residents of the city are now gathering near the police station with a demand to release the activists who were protesting electricity price hike in the country.
