Berianidze representing Armenia to fight for bronze medal
Freestyle wrestler Levan Berianidze representing Armenian will fight for a bronze medal in the European Games in Baku. Today at heavyweight wrestlers’ tournament he reached ¼ final, where he lost to Belarusian Aleksey Shemarov. In the first match of the relief tournament Levan Berianidze defeated German Nick Matuhin and will fight for the third prize. His competitor will be Georgian wrestler Geno Petriashvili, who lost to Belarusian wrestler in the semi-final. Our two wrestlers Volodya Frangulyan and Musa Murtazaliyev had unsuccessful matches in their weight classes and left the fight for medals. To remind, Armenia still has won a silver medal in the European Games.
