Agricultural products’ prices mustn’t increase as a result of electricity price increase, as they aren’t made using electricity. Prices of dried fruit also mustn’t increase, unless they are made with special equipments, says sociologist Aharon Adibekyan. Instead prices of dairy products may increase, as for example, electricity is used for making yogurt from milk. “In villages electricity is used less than in cities. In villages teachers and people working in fields will be affected, as they need to work at home by computer, watch TV,” thinks the sociologist. Price of lavash will increase for the residents of the capital, as in bakeries it is made using electricity. The sociologist knows that in many countries, in particular in Germany people use little electricity. He says that people in Germany go to bed at nine o’clock in the evening and wake up at six o’clock and there is no need to use electricity. “It gets dark late in our country either, we can save. We must learn to live in that way,” he highlighted. On the other hand, he thinks that in our country we must develop the work of getting electricity from other sources. Asked how much he pays for electricity consumption, Mr. Adibekyan noted, “15000 drams during winter months and 7000 drams during summer.” He knows that hereafter he will pay more, but at the same time he thinks that he can save.
