Kindergarten was closed after transferring children to hospital
Yesterday it became known that 6 children from Armavir city No 9 kindergarten from May 15-18 applied to Armavir medical center’s division of infectious diseases with intestinal complaints. “Friday morning during morning exercise twin children felt bad, they had stomachache. Their parents were informed about it. They came and took the children into hospital. After receiving appropriate treatment the children were taken home,” Ruben Khlghatyan, Mayor of Armavir told “A1+”. According to his words, the parents noted that it had been their guilt, as they had given strawberries to the children without washing. Yesterday 4 children felt bad. They were also taken to hospital, but currently the children aren’t receiving hospital treatment, the parents are regularly taking them to the doctor. Mr. Khlghatyan assured that currently children feel good. “With my order the kindergarten has been closed,” said Mayor of Armavir. Asked, how long it will remain closed, he noted that at least until Monday. State Service of Food Safety of Ministry of Agriculture is also working on-site. “Our group has taken samples from the food in order to find out the reasons,” said Nvard Arakelyan, Press Secretary of Chief of Service.
