Public discussion against electricity price hike (video)
A discussion will be held at Liberty Square at 7 p.m. on Thursday on the expected electricity price hike in Armenia. The initiative group has issued a statement urging ‘all citizens ready to fight against the lawlessness’ join in the discussion at the square. “The Electric Networks of Armenia cynically seeks to raise electricity tariffs by 16 drams. The increase in electricity prices will result in a rise in prices of essential commodities, which will be a heavy blow to our citizens. To prevent the price hike and its consequences we invite everyone to Liberty Square at 7p.m. to discuss and develop our future actions,” the group said in the statement. A1+ will be live streaming the discussion.
