Galust Sahakyan knows who made his personal meeting with the Speaker of the Parliament of South Ossetia a reason for a diplomatic scandal but he doesn’t mention names: “They tried to make a problem for harming Galust Sahakyan, I think they won’t succeed. Who? Both here and there.” He says that he doesn’t have problems with Georgia, as he paid his first visit to Georgia after heading the National Assembly, “If Georgia demanded an answer, my colleague would call me.” There was a simple handshake with Anatoliy Bibilov on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Genocide. That’s why there wasn’t any call from Georgia: “Our state, Galust Sahakyan in particular, our parliament have no relations with South Ossetia, that’s why Galust Sahakyan couldn’t have received and spoken about those relations,” says Galust Sahakyan. Mr. Sahakyan is aware that the scandal arose in the Ossetian media and publications on their parliament’s website, according to which Bibilov had a working meeting with the Speaker of our parliament. But why was the personal meeting photographed, where the meeting was more like an official one? “Probably someone photographed, besides when I look at that photo, I can see that I even don’t have such a costume.”
