Memorial procession in Lebanon
Schools in Lebanon closed on Friday, April 24 in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. Earlier this week, Lebanon’s Minister of Education and Higher Education Elias Bou Saab announced that public and private schools will close on Friday to commemorate the centenary of the Armenian Genocide. According to preliminary data, about 50 000 people participated in the memorial procession from Antelias to Bourj Hammoud.
