Founding Parliament: Police tore down posters carried by women
The “Centenary without the Regime” movement says in the morning police officers attempted to thwart a protest action held by representatives of the Armenian Women's Front civil initiative outside the Armenia Marriott hotel in Yerevan. In a statement issued on Wednesday, the Centenary without the Regime - a group seeking regime change – said police officers approached the women in front of the hotel and tore the placards they were carrying. The police are now trying to detain the participants of the action who have grouped in a nearby café.
