Earthquake hits Armenia
The Seismic Protection Service of the Republic of Armenia says a magnitude 3.5 quake struck the country at 5.26 am Yerevan time (1.26am GMT). The hypocenter was at the depth of 10 km, with the force at the epicenter measuring up to 4-5 on the Richter scale. The quake was felt in Gavar and Martuni cities and Eranos village of Gegharkunik region. Tremors measuring 2-3 on the magnitude scale were felt in Yerevan.
