Tigran Balayan on violation of ceasefire regime by Azerbaijan
We strictly condemn the subversive penetration attempts, which caused casualties, by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces in the direction of the line of contact between Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijan on March 19. We extend condolences over the heavy loss to the dead soldiers’ families and friends. Once again Baku openly displays its contempt for the calls of the international community to refrain from actions and statements, which can exacerbate the situation. It is obvious that this adventurous behavior is a serious danger for the region’s security and stability. The direct responsibility for the situation, which has been escalated as a result of provocative actions, lies with the authorities of Azerbaijan. MFA Press Secretary
